Tomoyuki Takeuchi
Tomoyuki Takeuchi is Chief Underwriter of Marine Hull, Liability, Offshore Energy and Offshore Wind for Tokio Marine and Nichido Fire lnsurance Co., Ltd., the oldest insurance company in Japan. The 1g79 established company has its origin in marine insurance and earns more than $40 bitlion premium income
as a group which has offices in 46 countries and areas around the world.
Tomoyuki, a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), has been working for Tokio Marine for more than 20 years and has always been in the fields of marine hull and offshore energy. Between 2017 and 2020, he was a representative of Tokio Marine in London for marine hull and offshore energy portfolio.
He served as the Vice Chair of Reinsurance Technical Committee of Japan Hull Reinsurance pool for 4 years and now leads the Underwriting Committee of the Japan Hull Reinsurance Pool as its Chair. He also serves for the lnternational Union of Marine lnsurance (lUMl) as a member of the Ocean Hull Committee.
