Sanne Henriksen

Sanne is Head of Decarbonisation, Public and Regulatory Affairs at A.P. Moller-Maersk, where she heading the team working with among other things developments on the regulatory decarbonisation agenda in the IMO and the EU. Prior to joining Maersk, Sanne worked at the Danish Maritime Authority, where she was the lead for Denmark at IMO GHG negotiations, including on the IMO Initial GHG Strategy adopted in 2018. Sanne has also worked with Maritime Affairs at the Danish Embassy in Washington DC, US. Before that Sanne has held different positions at the Danish Ministry of Business, Financial and Industry Affairs, where she among other things worked with post-financial crisis reforms, EU Banking Union and financial EU regulation. She holds an MSc in Political Science University of Copenhagen.
