Rick Salway

Rick is responsible for the development and management of the Luxury Yacht program at the Great American Insurance Group. He has over 30 years of industry experience with a 20+ year specialization in yacht insurance.  Rick has held roles with Chubb, Atlantic Mutual, Travelers and XL.

Rick is credited with the creation of many of the modern global yacht insurance coverages.

Rick is the current North American representative member of the International Union of Marine Insurers Inland Hull, Fishing Vessels and Yachts Committee.  He is the current and a past Chairman of the American Institute of Marine Underwriters Pleasure Craft committee.

Two co-workers have been awarded the prestigious Harold Jackson Scholarship under his guidance.

Rick resides in Bay Head, NJ, with his daughter Cassidy and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Fin.
