Phil Hobbs

Phil Hobbs is President and Managing Director of Liberty Specialty Markets, a $5B Global Specialty business.  LSM has a network of offices in 23 countries covering all the major international insurance hubs and one of the largest Lloyd’s syndicates. Phil is also responsible for running Asia Retail Markets (ARM). ARM is a $1.5 bn personal and retail lines insurer trading across 7 countries.

Phil was previously LSM Deputy Managing Director and CUO for 5 years and a Board member of our Company and Syndicate platforms. He has been with the organisation for over 15 years and was the Chief Actuary for the first 10 of those.  He is a board member of the International Association of Underwriters.
