Mikkel Gardner Anderson

Mikkel is a Master Mariner and Naval architect working on various ship types, technical management, and Classification. The last 15 years he has been associated with Marine Insurance, initially as a surveyor before committing to risk management through his MSc in Human factors and Safety systems.

Mikkel is strongly committed in various organizations e.g. IUMI LPC and Cefor (The Nordic Association of Marine insurers).

Moderating the LPC panel “The Human element in decarbonization” will bring new insights about the hidden and interconnected risk we are facing, and it is only natural for Mikkel to lead this as a believer – “It’s all about people.”
