Hilton Adams

Hilton is an Executive Member of the Association of Marine Underwriters in South Africa (SAIA/AMUSA), as well as being Chairman of the IUMI IFY Technical Committee. (International Union of Marine Underwriting).

Surprise, Surprise, Hilton loves sailing and being at sea as well, bearing in mind that he is Head of Marine for Munich Re – Africa.

Truth be told, Shipping and Sailing is more a hobby than a job.  Hilton always wanted to join the Navy, to embarked on studying Maritime Law, but, due to unforeseen circumstances (old South Africa), he had to go and find a job.

He joined Munich Re and is in his 39th year etc. He studied Business, Economics and Insurance.

Hilton will read anything and everything, which is the best advice for gaining any form of knowledge.
