Gautam Puri is the Vice President of Business Advisory and Energy Transition Advisory Services at Lloyds Register. As a trusted partner and a resilient thought leader, he finds innovative solutions for advising Maritime Stakeholders in their Decarbonisation Journey, Regulatory Compliance,  and Fleet Optimisation initiatives.

A 20-year veteran in the Shipping industry, Gautam had led cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams, leveraging technology to de-risk and future – proof Clients Business.

Prior to this role, Gautam enjoyed a successful career with Maersk, Rolls-Royce and Shell where he pioneered Projects within Innovation, Shipping Finance and Business Strategy.

Gautam holds a CFA Charter, Marine Chief Engineer ( MCA,U.K.), Chartered Ship Broker ( I.C.S.) , M.B.A from Oxford University and A.M.P. from Harvard Business School.
